Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born
September 4 of 1981 in Houston. Her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson designs their
glittering costumes & her father, Mathew Knowles oversees Destiny's
Child. Solange, her sister (they're 4 years apart) has released her debut
album. She dances with her big sister at DC-3 concerts. Beyonce is of Louisiana
Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston discovered her and her group.
One of her top songs is "Lovefool" by The Cardigans. She loves a pair
metallic silver-colored work boots. She has written and recorded many of the
group's tunes, including smash hits "Jumpin Jumpin",
"Bootylicious", "Nasty Girl", "Independent
Women", "Happy Face" and "Apple Pie a la mode". The
lead singer in the group's vocal group, Destiny's Children. She performed as a
opening act for Christina Aguilera in 2000. TLC was the opening show (1999).
There is a cat named Master P. He attended the High School for the Performing
and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. Solange's big sister and Nixon & Koi

also performed at an South African AIDS benefit event that Bono of U2 hosted in
November 2003 in order to combat the AIDS epidemic. She received five Grammy

Mathew is her father. is African-American. Tina is of Louisiana Creole descent.
Her ancestors are mostly African as well as French and come from Louisiana as
well as Canada. Beyonce is also 1/32 Irish and has distant Breton and Spanish,
Indonesian and Chinese roots. The singer has been quoted as saying that in
order to overcome her shyness, she created an acting persona dubbed
"Sasha".
