Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pinda is Arnel Pinda is a Filipino singer-songwriter. He made his name in the Philippines in the 1890s and then in 2007 internationally when he was the lead singer of American rock band Journey. Arnel is 54 as of 2021, he was born Arnel Campaner Pineda on the 5th of September 1967 in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. Each year, his birthday falls on September 5. Arnel was born on September 5, 2022 at 55 years old, is Virgo. Arnel weighs 5 feet and 4 inches (164cm) in height. The family was left in the burden of debt following the death of his mother. His father, six months behind on rent and unable financially to support his family, asked his relatives to adopt Arnel. As a result, Arnel quit school and began working to help ease the burden of his father. Arnel was born at St. Jude Thaddeus Diagnostic Clinic located in Tondo, Manila, the Philippines to Restituto Lising Pinda and Josefina Manansala Campaner. Arnel was motivated by his mother to sing while he was still young. The family members signed him up for singing competitions. Arnel's mom was afflicted with heart disease and died at the age of Arel was just 13 years old. The family was left in debt after the death of his mother. Since his father was six months behind on his rent and was also unable to provide for his family, his father made the decision to request his family members to take Arnel's siblings. Arnel has three sisters and brothers: Roderick Pineda; Joselito Pinda and Russmon Peda. Arnel became aware of the severity of his situation and quit school to relieve his father's burden. Arnel was forced to spend nearly two years in the streets. He slept anywhere he could, in parks and in narrow benches outside of crowded houses. He traded newspapers, glass bottles and scrap metals to recyclers. Arnel also worked odd jobs such as cleaning scrap metal or docking ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. They were married in 2001. The couple was blessed with two children: a daughter, Thea Chenelle Pineda, and a son, Cherub. Arnel is also blessed with Matthew and Angelo the two older sons.
