Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
became famous as an actor on "Saturday night Live". He later appeared
on several comedies on the big screen, such as Elf and' Anchorman' and
‘Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He
began his comedy career as an actor in the improv troupe based in Los Angeles,
the group known as the Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night Live cast member
for seven years before becoming a popular comedic character through off-color
films, like Old School 2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004.
Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die, a popular video streaming website. Ferrell
also had successes as an actor voiceover in animated movies such as Megamind
(2010). John William Ferrell was born on July 16 1967 in Irvine, California.
Will Ferrell was the youngest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell
and teacher Kay Ferrell. He was, by his own admission in no way the class clown
when he was a University High School student. The quiet and studious Ferrell decided
to leave his impression on the football field which is where he established an
academic record for the highest number of field goals made. Ferrell showed
little of the outlandish, humorous behavior that would define his career, even
in his suburban home. His mother, who was interviewed by Esquire and Esquire,
stated that her son was gentle and calm. "You remember those little
Matchbox cars?" Will would be thrilled in lining up all his Matchbox cars
all by himself. It would be a simple question "Do you want to visit
Disneyland this morning?" or "You want your cars lined up?" He'd
need to think about the matter. "That's not to say Ferrell was a
straight-laced man. As he delivered his daily announcements on the PA system, a
glimpse into his comical skills was revealed each day in high-school. Ferrell
was a graduate in 1986, and enrolled at the University of Southern California
in Los Angeles. There he joined Delta Tau fraternity to pursue a degree as an
sports journalist.
