Emma Watson

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was the child of British parents Jacqueline Luesby, a lawyer, as well as Chris Watson, a teacher who taught in Paris, France. At age five, she relocated to Oxfordshire, where she attended Dragon School. Emma was aware from the age of she was six that she was going to be an actor. The film broke records for opening-day sales and opening-weekend takings and was also the highest-grossing feature of 2001. Critics praised the film and the performances of the three leading young actors. The widely distributed British newspaper, 'The Daily Telegraph' has praised her performance as "admirable". Emma received five awards later for her role in the movie, including the Young Artist Award, for the Best Young Actress In an feature Film. Emma was a star after the successful first film in the Harry Potter franchise. Emma continued to play the character of Hermione Granger for more than 10 years in all of the following Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010), and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). Emma received two Critics' Choice Award nominations from the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
